Courses and Schedules
The SCMEP provides rider training classes for individuals of all skill levels to include individuals who have never ridden a motorcycle and are interested in learning basic skills to riders who just want to sharpen their skills and share their experience with other riders. There is even a course for riders who want to sharpen their skills in preparation for taking the state motorcycle driver's license exam. The state's driver's license exam maybe is administered at the conclusion of some classes.
Course schedules are available from the technical college where you will be attending a rider education course and via our website. The schedule and registration are available on a semester basis. Class dates will be available for one registration approximately one month prior to the start of the semester as follows:
- Spring Semester: January-April schedule posted on or about December 10
- Summer Semester: May-August schedule posted on or about April 10
- Winter Semester: September-December schedule posted on or about August 10
